Mirek Kaczmarek
Mirek Kaczmarek has designed sets, costumes, and multimedia elements for more than 200 productions. In 2007, he designed the Polish pavilion for the 11th Prague Quadrennial of Performance, Design and Space. He frequently collaborates with directors Jan Klata and Marcin Liber.
As a set designer for Ewelina Marciniak, he was responsible, among other things, for Der Boxer at the Thalia Theater, which won the DER FAUST theater award. He designed the sets for all four parts of Wagner’s Der Ring des Nibelungen at the Bühnen Bern.
In 2026, he designed the set for Dialogues des Carmélites at the Stuttgart Opera in Ewelina Marciniak’s production. He is also collaborating with her again, designing the set for the German premiere of Orlando at the Komische Oper Berlin.
