Natan Berkowicz
Born in Kraków, Natan Berkowicz first studied at the Leon Schiller National Higher School of Film, Television, and Theater in Łódź before working as a freelance cinematographer, video artist, and lighting designer at numerous theaters. Berkowicz has already collaborated with directors such as Krystian Plate, Jan Klata, Wiktor Bagiński, and Radek Stępień, creating video installations for productions including The Trial, La clemenzia di Tito, Roméo et Juliette, Lazarus, Who Killed Caspar Hauser, and Capri. In addition, Berkowicz developed an eight-episode audiovisual project commissioned by the AUKSO Chamber Orchestra of the City of Tychy.
Berkowicz’s work is characterized above all by his creative use of multi-layered image blending, generative art, AI, and collages. Using these tools, he creates dark, multidimensional realities. At the Komische Oper Berlin, Berkowicz is collaborating with Ewelina Marciniak on the video installations for the new production of Orlando.
