Julien Aléonard
Julien Aléonard studied at the Paris Conservatory, specializing in music and sound engineering. He initially worked as a sound engineer at the IRCAM research and music center in Paris, but began working as a freelancer in 2015 and is primarily active in the fields of contemporary music, electroacoustic productions, and experimental sound projects. Aléonard has already made guest appearances with numerous orchestras and ensembles, including the Orchestre Philharmonique de Radio France, the Vienna State Opera Orchestra, and the Orchestre National de France. He has also collaborated with composers such as Olga Neuwirth, Luca Francesconi, and Magnus Lindberg. After serving as sound director for the world premiere of Neuwirth’s opera Orlando at the Vienna State Opera, Aléonard is now working in season 2025/26 at the Komische Oper Berlin in collaboration with Ewelina Marciniak on the German premiere of Orlando.
