Agnieszka Kryst
Agnieszka Kryst is a freelance dance artist and choreographer. She graduated from the Frédéric Chopin University of Music in Warsaw with an MA in Choreography and Dance Theory. As a dancer and performer, she has performed with Juan Dominguez Rojo, Sjoerd Vreugdenhil, Marta Ziółek, Paweł Sakowicz, Joanna Leśnierowska and Janusz Orlik, and most recently with Rebecca Lazier in her performance There might be others, which was presented at New York Live Arts and in Canada in March 2016. She developed and performed the solo piece A Score. In 2017/2018 she created the duet »The Archeresses« as part of a residency program founded by the Städtische Galerie BWA in Bydgoszcz (Poland). In 2019 she choreographed the group piece Topology of Desire, which was performed at the Zachęta National Gallery. This was followed in 2020 by the solo piece Expiria at the Nowy Teatr in Warsaw. In 2021, the production Raj.Potop (Paradise. Fluten by Thomas Köck), in which she dances and acts, premiered at Studio Teatr-Galeria in Warsaw. In the 2025/26 season, she will work together with Ewelina Marciniak on the new production of Orlando at the Komische Oper Berlin.
