Tamara Viola Kurti, born in Mainz in 1994, completed her professional training as a musical theater performer in 2022 at the Musical Arts Academy in Mainz. Since then, Tamara has worked across genres in opera, theater, and musical theater. In 2022, she appeared as a dancer at the Staatstheater Wiesbaden in productions including “The Merry Widow,” “Tristan and Isolde,” and “Cabaret.” In 2023/24, she transitioned to leading roles, playing the young Sandra Cane in “Follies”—also in Wiesbaden—Romeo in the play “Romeo and Juliet” at the Mainz State Theater, and shining as Velma Kelly in “Chicago” in Bad Hall.

In Mainz, she has also been playing the Snow Queen in the children’s opera of the same name since 2024 and has been portraying Jenny in “The Threepenny Opera” since 2025. Tamara is currently on stage at the Theater Freiburg as Angelique in “La Cage aux Folles” and also serves as the production’s dance captain.
