Poetry, electro, baroque! The actress and trained musician Anke Retzlaff, celebrated by cinema, television and theater alike, is once again making her way through the thicket of audience voices after her fast-paced dream performance “Dream Machine” (2021). The theme? The most primal of all experiences that connects us all: birth - the most intensely intimate and at the same time most socially monitored moment of life. The pregnant body becomes a dance floor for doctors, the pharmaceutical, food and advertising industries. Anke Retzlaff, Peter Florian Berndt and Dominik Tremel join the fray with viola da gamba, lute and synthesizers with texts by Kathrin Liess. Come and be born!
