Jobs@opera

The educational program is aimed at young people in 8th and 9th grade and above in Berlin-Mitte. In workshops, they learn through hands-on experimentation and by pitching in which professions are essential to an opera house and what makes them so fascinating: from makeup artists to event technicians, from musicians to prop masters, from costume designers to marketing staff. It takes team spirit, sensitivity, perseverance, and enthusiasm to bring an opera to the stage each evening—and you’ll be rewarded with the audience’s applause and can be proud of yourself and the team. This opens up entirely new career and life prospects.
