From the 2024/25 season, Swedish soprano Josefine Mindus is a member of the ensemble at Hessisches Staatstheater Wiesbaden, where she made her company debut as Chief Gepopo and Venus in Ligeti’s Le Grand Macabre. Her performance was met with enthusiastic reviews, praised for its vocal virtuosity and fearless theatricality. She went on to sing Frasquita in Carmen and Elsbeth in Offenbach’s rarely staged operetta Fantasio.

Mindus’ 2025/26 season include several role debuts, including Ännchen in Der Freischütz, Despina in Così fan tutte, Die Nachtigall in Braunfels’ Die Vögel and the title role in Rimsky-Korsakov's The Snow Maiden. Other highlights of the 2025/26 season include a return to Konzerthaus Berlin, singing La Fabbrica Abbandonata with ensemble unitedberlin and Vladimir Jurowski and her return to Komische Oper where she will perform Brett Dean’s Ophelia Mad-scene, And once I played Ophelia, conducted by Tito Muñoz.
