In over 250 legends, Ovid's Metamorphoses tell of the magic of transformation: gods turn into animals, humans become plants, statues come to life. The myths surrounding Orpheus, Pygmalion and Ganymede have always been of great interest to musicians. Over time, Ovid's Metamorphoses have been interpreted in many different ways. The members of the opera studio present the entire spectrum of musical metamorphoses: from tragic opera to humorous operetta parody!
