Michael Fernandez
Puerto Rican dancer and musical performer Michael Fernandez holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the New World School of the Arts in Miami.
Since 2016 he has been dancing at the Komische Oper Berlin, where he has appeared in over 23 productions, including La Cage aux Folles, Orpheus in the Underworld, Anatevka, My Fair Lady and Die Nase. In 2025/26 he will be performing together with Katharine Mehrling in …Und mit morgen könnt ihr mich! as a solo dancer on stage. Further engagements have taken him to the Lyric Opera of Chicago, the Frankfurt Opera, the Stuttgart State Theatre and the Salzburg Festival, among others. Fernandez has also appeared in film and television productions such as Babylon Berlin, John Wick: Chapter 4 and the Netflix film Eldorado – Everything the Nazis Hate.
