Viewing Restrictions
Viewing Restrictions: Due to structural conditions or to a specific production itself, viewing restrictions may apply to certain seats. These seats may only be booked at the box office, via the call center (030) 47 99 74 00 and at the door, and cannot be booked online.
Discounts
Please note that, apart from tickets purchased with the "Fördercard" or the OperaCard 25, no reduced-price tickets or tickets for children can be booked Online. Reduced-price tickets (except 3-Euro tickets) can be booked via telephone and at the opera box office. Not all discounts apply to premieres and special events. They are issued according to availability and upon request. Please note that the corresponding proof of discount must be presented upon admission. Discounts are not granted retroactively and cannot be combined.
Children (up to 18 years of age)
For tickets in all price groups for all performances in the schedule when accompanied by an adult:
10 € (up to and including age 14)
15 € (age 15 up to and including age 18)
Groups of 15 or more schoolchildren
8 € for tickets in all price groups
6 € for tickets to the children's operas (Jim Knopf and Lukas the Engine Driver, The Wonderful Wizard of Oz) and children's concerts in all price groups for performances from Monday to Friday / Registration with school confirmation via schule@komische-oper-berlin.de.
Groups of 15 or more students
16 € for tickets in all price groups
Workshops
Free of charge for schoolchildren of any age when attending any performance of current productions.
Pupils, students, trainees, people doing military service or federal voluntary service (under 30 years of age) and the unemployed (Arbeitslosengeld I and II) in the following price categories (except premieres)
C, D, E: 8 € reduction in price groups I - V
A, B: 4 € reduction in price groups I - V
3-Euro tickets
Holders of the "berlinpass" receive 3-euro tickets for all repertoire performances and symphony concerts in the Great Hall (New Year's Eve performances and premieres excepted) at the box office from 30 minutes before the performance begins (subject to availability and upon presentation of the "berlinpass").

Exchange and refund

Purchased tickets can be exchanged up to three days before the performance at a fee of €4 per ticket. Exchanges are only possible at the Opera Box Office or via the telephone service. The reprint of a ticket is charged at € 2.
For cancelled Komische Oper Berlin events, you can have the ticket price refunded. To do so, please fill out our online form completely and submit it.
