Workshops

Prepare for your opera visit with all your senses! Using the method of scenic interpretation of music and theater, you’ll prepare for your visit to a musical theater performance in a playful and creative way. You’ll slip into roles, immerse yourselves in the music, and experience firsthand how opera characters become “real” people. Afterward, you’ll hear the music with entirely new ears. We offer introductory workshops on all the operas in the season’s repertoire for school groups, children, teens, college students, groups, and families. For school groups, the workshops are free when combined with a visit to a performance.
