The wheel of the year never stands still! A new year begins, and the Baroque ensemble camerata 415 berlin, consisting of musicians from the Komische Oper Berlin, takes this as an opportunity to connect the old and the new, the end and the beginning, thus closing the eternal circle. On period instruments, they present Antonio Vivaldi’s four most famous violin concertos: “The Four Seasons” and Karlheinz Stockhausen’s “Zodiac,” which musically portrays the twelve zodiac signs—inspired by people from his personal circle. With this unusual yet exciting mix, we are well prepared for whatever the new year has in store for us.
