Loulou Hameleers is a singer, actress, theater maker and director. And she feels the need and joy to combine them all.
She is a virtuoso and versatile singer and can go from classical to pop to musical to grunt and loves to challenge herself in this. She feels boundless and free on stage, both as a singer and actress and she loves being directed but always wants a say.
Loulou Hameleers is a part of music and performance collective CLUB GEWALT. They create, compose, produce and perform their own work in which music is always the beginning, the middle and the end.
Loulou is also front woman of the radical feminist punk band Herr Hamsterfleisch. These concerts celebrate women and are full of humor, absurdism and emotion.
For a few years now, she has also been coaching and directing. She has worked with De Amazones (Wie de f*ck heeft dit gedaan?!) and Daniëlle Deddens (Nora).
She is also the enthusiastic choir director of the CLUB GEWALT Choir.
