The choir soloists, together with the instrumental ensemble camerata415, are performing Baroque church music. The program includes Pergolesi's late work Stabat Mater, which is dedicated to Mary's perspective on the death of her son Jesus on the cross. This is contrasted with two early cantatas by Johann Sebastian Bach, which he composed during his short time in Mühlhausen. David Cavelius, choir director of the Komische Oper Berlin, conducts and accompanies the musicians on the organ.
