Tuyêt Pham
Tuyêt Pham was born in Paris to Vietnamese parents and now lives in
Berlin. As a pianist, she devotes herself primarily to chamber music. In addition to the
classical repertoire, she deals with Latin American music, Jewish music,
song recitals, contemporary music, as well as improvised music. She was co-founder of the group Vibratanghissimo (tango/jazz), with which she performed for many years. With the bandoneonist and composer Helmut Abel, she founded the Mafalda Ensemble, which performs works by Helmut Abel as well as tango-inspired music.
Tuyêt Pham studied in Paris and Berlin. Her artistic encounters and lessons with Klaus Hellwig, György Sebök, Aribert Reimann and Dietrich Fischer-Dieskau were particularly formative for her.
In addition to her concert activities, Tuyêt Pham is a committed music educator and
has been teaching in Berlin for many years.
