Meik van Severen
Meik van Severen was born in Hanover in 1992 and completed his acting studies at the Berlin University of the Arts. During his studies, he made guest appearances at the Hans Otto Theatre and the Deutsches Theater Berlin, among others. Since graduating, van Severen has appeared at numerous theatres and opera houses, including the Neuköllner Oper, the Badisches Staatstheater Karlsruhe, the Theater Paderborn and the Munich Biennale, and has worked with directors such as Fabian Gerhardt and Michail Marmarinos.
He also works regularly as a voice artist for RBB, Deutschlandfunk and SWR.
Last year, van Severen appeared in a leading role in Polizeiruf München. As the singing diva ‘Faye Fatale’, he enchants audiences on cabaret stages in Berlin and Munich.
Meik van Severen can now be seen in a one-off performance as the ‘Queen of Love’ in the chamber concert of the same name at the Komische Oper Berlin.
