“Wouldn't You Like to Be on Broadway?” one hears in Kurt Weill’s New York musical, Street Scene. The correct answer to that can only be: “Yes, I would!” And so, the Komische Oper Berlin invites you to a Ball under the motto “Broadway!”. From the elegant reception to the excellent dinner on stage, everything will be as if underneath the dazzling lights of the world-famous New York Theater boulevard. And of course, the orchestra of the Komische Oper Berlin will be playing immortal musical hits from the pens of Cole Porter, Stephen Sondheim and Leonard Bernstein, including a musical surprise program at midnight!
