Farges Mikh Nit

19:30 - 20:50
18:00 - 19:20
20:00 - 21:20
A virtuosic recital of yiddish songs between infectious comedy, gentle melancholy, and deeply moving despair. Following the celebrated concerts of 2015 and 2018, Farges mikh nit (Don’t forget me) returns this season to the proscenium of the Komische Oper Berlin. Ensemble member Alma Sadé, the internationally successful mezzo-soprano Helene Schneiderman, and Intendant Barrie Kosky as »a great entertainer and congenial accompanist for his two wonderful singers« [BERLINER ZEITUNG] bring a forgotten genre back to life: the Yiddish operetta.
