Sharon Eyals choreographies can also be described as vibrating experiments at the boundary of precision and seeming excess, and they appear to strike a chord with the public. The uncompromising Israeli choreographer is concerned above all with emotional authenticity, which is a prerequisite for the interpretation of her pieces. Following the great success of Half Life, she will now rework with the dancers of the Staatsballet a creation for Berlin.
N.N. [Creation]
Choreography by Alexander Ekman

Alexander Ekman is known for his fast-paced timing, witty humor and clever staging. He aims at creating works which the majority can connect to, exploring topics everybody can relate to, which both entertain and question the audience. Since 2006, he has devoted his time to creating choreographies all across the globe. For the Staatsballett Berlin, he will work on a new creation.
The ballet evening will have its premiere in winter 2019 at the Staatsoper Unter den Linden and will be performed from March 2020 at a new venue, the Komische Oper Berlin.
