Symphony concert 4: Jordan de Souza and Daniel Lozakovich

Pyotr I. Tchaikovsky Romeo and Juliet, Fantasy Overture based on Shakespeare
Franz Schreker Chamber Symphony
Pyotr I. TchaikovskyConcerto for Violin and Orchestra in D major op. 35

Shooting star and child genius! Together with the Swedish violinist Daniel Lozakovich – who is only 16 and has already won numerous international awards –, the passionate young Canadian Jordan de Souza, the new hope among the younger generation of conductors, presents two hits from the concert repertoire composed by Pyotr I. Tchaikovsky, in combination with rarely heard, mysterious sounds from Franz Schreker. The entire might of High Romantic orchestral sounds encounter at times merry, at other times dreamy and slender Late Romanticism, presented by two exceptionally promising musical talents.
