Awarded the ECHO Klassic in 2013 as best newcomer, the Norwegian trumpeter Tine Thing Helseth is today a popular guest performer around the world and took concert audiences at the Komische Oper Berlin by storm in 2017 when she stood in for our regular trumpeter at the last minute. Together with the equally internationally successful Estonian conductor Kristiina Poska, whom Komische Oper audiences still remember well from her time as First Kapellmeister, Helseth discovers old and new classics ranging from Haydn to Penderecki.
